Paņēmieni Amerikāņu kultūras mācīšanai angļu valodas stundās 11. klasē

Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt paņēmienus amerikāņu kultūras mācīšanai angļu valodas stundās 11. klasē. Autors uzskata, ka amerikāņu kultūras mācīšanai ir nozīmīga loma 21. gadsimtā. Izvēlētā pētījuma metode bija atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums Rīgas Angļu ģimnāzijā. Datu vākšanas metodes bija skolotāju intervijas, skolēnu anketas, portfolio un atgriezeniskā saite. Pētījuma dati atklāja, ka kultūras paņēmienu izmantošana uzlaboja skolēnu starpkultūru prasmes. Amerikāņu kultūra veicināja skolēnus saskatīt saikni starp idejām, pamatot savu viedokli vai lēmumu kā arī izveidot jaunu oriģinālu darbu vai sniegt savu skatpunktu. El objetivo de este artículo es investigar, desde una perspectiva comunicativa, socio-semiótica y etnomusicológica, la construcción de sentido sobre el viaje y el estilo de vida itinerante (hobo) en el discurso musical del blues. Primero realizaremos una contextualización histórica del viaje en la tradición afroamericana, y después analizaremos el caso del legendario músico texano Roosevelt «Grey Ghost» Williams (1903-1996) y de su composición «Lonesome Traveller» («viajero solitario»), en la que se representa el sujeto y estilo de vida hobo (trabajador migrante y sin hogar). Toni Morrison’s latest novel, God Help the Child, explores the damaging effects of racism on motherhood and the dramatic impact of toxic mothering upon children. The institution of patriarchal motherhood fails to enact the critical tasks of motherwork —preservation, nurturance and cultural bearing, while mothering is a potential site of empowerment of black children and African American culture.
